2020 Covid-19 FAQs

Parrot Island Waterpark is looking forward to reopening soon. We have been hard at work developing temporary operating procedures that follow the CDC guidelines regarding social distancing and the operation of aquatic areas. Our first priority has always been to provide the safest possible environment for all of our valued guests and staff members. Along with enhanced sanitation procedures, there are a number of new procedures that must be followed to enjoy our facilities this year.

TICKET PURCHASE PROCESS

All guests will be required to pre-purchase date specific tickets PRIOR to entry into the park, including SEASON PASS HOLDERS.

Season pass holders will need to reserve the date they would like to visit by following this procedure:

  • Visit the Parrot Island online store – click here
  • Click my account
  • Log in with your Season Pass ID number
  • Click on capacity day and season pass tickets - click here
  • Select the day you wish to visit by clicking the calendar to the left
  • Click the check box located next to “next”
  • Enter the requested information and click “next”
  • Select the required number of tickets then click “next”
  • Complete the process by checking out
  • Valid Season Pass holder will have a zero dollar total
    - PLEASE NOTE: You will need your Season Pass and the ticket your have "purchased" for check in.

 

NON SEASON PASS HOLDERS

  • Visit the Parrot Island online store – click here
  • Click on capacity day and season pass tickets - click here
  • Select the day you wish to visit by clicking the calendar to the left
  • Click the check box located next to “next”
  • Enter the requested information and click “next”
  • Select the required number of tickets then click “next”
  • Complete the process by checking out.
  • Follow the check in steps below.

ARRIVAL AND ENTRY PROCESS

Upon arrival you will be greeted by a Parrot Island team member who will explain the arrival and park entry process. They will also provide you a handout flyer for reference.

  • You need to get in a virtual line by going to this link.
  • You will receive a text message to the number you provided asking you to stay in your vehicle.
  • When it’s your turn to check in, you will receive another text message letting you know to come to the front gate for check-in.
  • When you and your party arrive at the ticket window, please maintain proper social distancing by standing on sticker labeled “stand here”.
  • When it’s your turn, please have all tickets available for scanning by holding it to the glass.
  • You will be handed your wristbands. These must be worn at all times while in the park. If you require assistance to put a wristband on, please see an available team member.
  • Bag checks are required prior to entrance. 
  • Once it’s your turn to enter, please open your bag and present it to our team member. All items in the bag must be visible. For a list of prohibited items, please click here
  • Enjoy your visit!

If a season pass holder does not feel comfortable visiting this season then a one time transfer for the 2020 season will be preformed. The following form must completed.

Season Pass holders also have the option to rollover their season pass to a 2021 season pass. To qualify for a rollover, the season pass holder cannot use or have used their season pass to enter or purchase tickets in the 2020 season. Pass holders will be required, as normal, to have an updated photo season pass card before allowed entry in 2021. As a reminder Parrot Island administrative offices are open at the park year round for pass processing.
